Abstract

In this paper the main objective is to reflect about the corporate culture as a key factor in the corporate acquisition process, based on the results of a case study in which qualitative research techniques were used as primary sources of information. Data analysis was done to characterize the corporate culture of an organization under study, through the model of the 13 dimensions of the Culture proposed by Zapata & Rodriguez (2008), before and after its integration with a business group, and determines how important the role of culture in the process is.
