Abstract

This paper aims to call on the general structure of international economics courses to undergraduate (political theory and international trade) since the traditional neoclassical economic vision limited explanations about the causes and consequences of trade on rational agents and ignores - among other things-, the political motivations of the countries and the effects on the environment. This vision is explained by the discipline of the exchange, although sufficient to understand the increased trade and specialization by factor endowments, it is inefficient to discern why the negotiations are dissimilar or even why the benefits of specialization do not converge.
