COMPETITIVIDAD DEL SECTOR DEL VIDRIO TEMPLADO EN COLOMBIA
Abstract
The templed glass industry at national level is a sector currently experiencing growth, that needs to develop competitive advantages such as innovation in its processes and products through hardware and software, to unfold integrated logistics that allow the articulation of the chain of value and the guidance to the client. The companies of the sector come, in agreement with their strategic intention, developing activities that are going to allow to them to stay in their business, nevertheless, in order for them to be competitive they will have to design and to implement a series of strategic options that permit them to create these differentiating sources. This article looks for that from a competitive analysis; the companies of the sector are sustained in the resulting strategic options of this investigation to improve their strategic position. In conclusion, these strategic options are related to the guidance of the client, the improvement of logistics and technological management.
