El the eCosysteM of suBjeCtiVe Well-Being as a MeChanisM for the design of PuBliC PoliCies for Well-Being
Abstract
This article analyzes the proposal of the theory of subjective well‑being in the implementation of public policies with the objective of contributing to the approach of measuring social welfare. This is precisely one of the current problems that the Mexican government needs to solve, since currently, according to data from the National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy; 53.4 million people live in poverty in Mexico. For this reason, the construction of the ecosystem of subjective well‑being is proposed, using the PERMA model in the municipality of San Andrés Cholula (state of Puebla, Mexico), which seeks to identify the objective and subjective elements of well‑being, in order to propose public policies that improve these elements.
