Abstract
The article raises the structure of the information systems of the trasportador sector of land cargo in Colombia for decision-making. The information is available, not matched in facts and figures when carrying it to analysis. Sectorial analysis, evidence of the significance of this information system to correct the flaws and failures in the management of the transport. The reciprocity between gross domestic product and the road transport still has problems of backwardness. The provision of economic information in the field of transport is discontinuous. From there, the significance of materializing an economic and industrial policy aimed at the sector. Correction of the problems of the transporter sector, undergo institutional order and adjustments in the market.
