SOSTENIBILIDAD DE LA CUENTA CORRIENTE DEL VALLE DEL CAUCA: UNA APROXIMACIÓN DESDE LA ECONOMETRÍA
Abstract
This works evaluating the sustainability of the current account of the balance of payment of the Cauca Valley department, using Husted´s method (1992). The econometrics of the study showed that series have grade 1 cointegration. It proves that series were not cointegrated and, therefore, there is a possibility that the gap between exports and imports will continue to grow in the future, making the current account of the balance of payments unsustainable.
