Abstract

This article aims to provide an overview of the geographical concentration of industrial activities in Cali and the areas surrounding the city. In 2012, a descriptive spatial analysis was applied to 42 industrial groups; a non-parametric methodology that tests localization patterns based on the distribution of distances between random points (Ripley's K-function) was used. Results show that 20 industrial groups are sensitive to spatial concentration.
