Abstract

The aim of this paper is to analyze and reflect on the epistemology of administrative sciences in such a way that contributes to the development of researchers in schools of business administration. Since a declared crisis of epistemology in general and administrative sciences especially in business schools, this analysis questions the possibilities to integrate and complement the different approaches, from focusing on the quantitative positivism at one end to the normative with a qualitative approach, through the full range of epistemologies. The paper also examines recent trends in genetic epistemology, complexity and open. It advances the possibility of developing a more pluralistic epistemological paradigm, eclectic, interdisciplinary and synergistic under a new approach on dialogical epistemology.
